Bugle Donated by Julie Flake, Park Manager

Julie Flake, Park Manager at the Buccaneer Estates representing ELS, purchased a Memorial Bugle for the Buccaneer Veterans Memorial Garden Committee.   This bugle is unique because it plays with the aid of a micro chip.   It plays 10 bugle calls.
Incindently, the cost was over $600.   Also, Julie replaced our old flag pole with
a brand new 20 foot pole. The pole is located in front of the rec hall.  The Photo below is Julie presenting the Bugle to Al Peirolo.

The Veterans Memorial Garden Committe are selling engraved memorial bricks which will be used to highlight a water fountain.   The fountian will be located in front of  the Recreation Hall.  The fountain will be purchased with money received by donations and sales of  the engraved Bricks.  Contact Al Peirolo at apeirolo@earthlink.net if you would like to purchase a Brick for $50.00.  Each Brick you purchase will have the name of the Veteran Name engraved on it.

The Veterans Memorial Garden Committee also purchased a Memorial Cannon through contributions from the New England Club, Safety Patrol, Square Dance Club and private donations.  Both the Bugle and the Cannon will be used in future memorial ceremonies.

Plans for a Nov. 11th ceremony are underway now.
