Ice In Fountain

January 3, 2008 was a Special Day at the Buccaneer.  It was the coldest day that the Buccaneer Residents had seen since 1979.  A new record was set.  It must have been pretty cold when Gary Pollard was over by the  Veteran's Memorial Garden Water Fountain.  He went home to get his camera and took the photos to prove what he had seen.

As Gary was taking the photos, a couple in their Bathing Suits and a Towel over their shoulder came by.  When Gary mentioned to them about how cold it was and the Ice In The Fountain, they shrugged it off as if it was no big deal.  Gary realized that they were probably visitors to the park and he asked them where they were from.  "Alaska", they replied.  "We see weather a lot worse than this every day of the year."  As Gary said, "We just need to keep things in prospective a lot of times."
