V.O.I.C.E.
Volunteer Observers Impacting Community Effort
The Sheriff's Office is looking for volunteers who care about their community and are willing to donate a minimum of 16 hours each month to keep Lee County a safe place for everyone to enjoy.
V.O.I.C.E. is primarily a crime prevention program that adds extended law enforcement benefits to the citizens of Lee County. The volunteers assist deputies, detectives, correctional officers, and support staff in performing their duties. Volunteer requirements are must be at least 18 years old, in good health, have no criminal record, possess a valid driver's license, have a safe drivers record, be of good moral character, pass background investigation and interview, and also pass computer voice stress analysis test (CVSA).
On the job training is required to learn the working of many of the duties that the V.O.I.C.E. members are involved in.
